Synopsis

The delicious new book from a bestselling author… as sweet and satisfying as a freshly baked scone!

Juliet Carlisle
reluctantly returns to her family's crumbling English manor, only to discover that her family has launched a new cookery school run by an irritatingly handsome French chef, Léo Brodeur.

Between her troublesome ex, struggling sisters, and a home falling down around her ears, Juliet has enough on her plate without dealing with a rude Frenchman. But as they work together in the kitchen – surrounded by the warm scents of baking croissants, fresh garden thyme, and Léo's peppery cologne – she begins to see a softer side to the chef that she never noticed before.

Just as her heart begins to thaw, Juliet discovers the shocking reason Léo left France, and she doesn’t know what to believe. Should she run away, or fight for the chance of happiness she’s found at Feywood?

A wonderful, warm country kitchen romance full of surprises. Perfect for fans of Heidi Swain, Phillipa Ashley and Sarah Morgan.

À propos de l?auteur

Hannah wrote her first book, about a dalmatian, when she was eight years old and she hasn't put her pen down since, although life's interventions have put up some stiff competition for her time and energy. Hannah has loved romantic fiction since those early days of 'Sweet Dreams' novels and, with a good wind behind her, can remember the names of all Jilly Cooper's 'book title' heroines, although her favourite was always Harriet. Hannah lives in London with her husband, John, and six year old daughter, Rose, both of whom also love books, although neither is exactly Hannah's target audience. Maybe one day she'll write a novel about a Formula One driver who loves puppies. Maybe. When she isn't writing, Hannah works as a teacher and Assistant Head in a small and unusually lovely school in south west London. Hannah joined the Romantic Novelists' Association New Writers' Scheme in 2020, graduating in 2023, and will always be grateful to them for their expert support and guidance as well as their championing of the genre.
