Annette Carson goes back to basic sources, reconstructing events from clues in the few contemporary records, and checking the who, when, where and why of each developing twist and turn.

Annette Carson is a non-fiction writer with a preference for history and biography. Among her previously published books are five on Richard III, all available as eBooks, the first being Richard III: The Maligned King (2008, 2023). She is a Fellow of the Richard III Society and was a member of the team that found the king’s grave. She preserves her independence as a researcher, writer and lecturer, concentrating on subjects and angles previously unexplored.
