I write poetry to give my thoughts a place on paper-it is how I express the world as I see it. This book, Unkept Tally, is my first published collection. It is a work that has taken a decade to come to this shape, built from the moments I've gathered along the way. I love painting and collecting memories. In many ways, these poems are a part of that collection. They are the echoes and feelings from my life, and I share them in the hope that they might connect with yours.
