Dr Melanie Smith is an EU law scholar, published author, and former tenured Associate Professor at Cardiff University, where she held a faculty position for over 13 years and led academic writing courses. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles, books, and edited collections, and has worked as a consultant to the European Parliament, bringing research on the enforcement of EU law directly into policymaking.
