Discourse analysis focuses on language beyond the sentence level, studying how meaning, structure, and power operate in extended communication. It reveals how language constructs reality in social, political, and cultural domains. Discourse Analysis Made Simple provides a clear introduction to discourse theory and its practical applications. The book discusses coherence, cohesion, genre analysis, and critical discourse perspectives. It also includes examples from media, politics, and everyday conversation. Written in an accessible style, it serves as an ideal resource for students seeking to understand how discourse shapes meaning and social interaction.
