Global interconnectedness has transformed the nature of policymaking and collective problemsolving, requiring nations to work together in addressing issues that transcend borders. Managing global challenges such as climate change, migration, and security demands cooperation among states, organizations, and civil society. Global Governance examines the systems, institutions, and agreements that shape decisionmaking at the international level. The book discusses the roles of the United Nations, World Bank, and other transnational actors in maintaining order and promoting sustainable development. It also explores challenges of accountability, inequality, and power dynamics in global policymaking. By integrating theory with case studies, it provides insights into how collective governance operates in a complex and interconnected world.
