Synopsis

Raymond Buchanan, son of the legendary boxer Ken Buchanan MBE, grew up in Prestonpans near Edinburgh, where he honed his skills as a talented joiner. Despite the peaceful nature of his craft, Raymond found himself drawn to the adrenaline and challenge of the boxing ring, eager to connect with his father's storied past.

His journey was tumultuous, marked by bouts not only inside the ring but also in the streets and nightclubs, where he grappled with the expectations and pressures of his famous surname. These experiences taught him resilience and the importance of finding his own identity amidst the chaos.

Ultimately, Raymond chose to embrace his roots, returning to work alongside his father as a joiner. In the workplace, he found solace and inspiration in Ken's tales of fighting at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA. These stories of triumph and perseverance became a guiding light, helping Raymond appreciate the legacy he was part of while crafting his own path.

Through the blend of craftsmanship and familial bonds, Raymond discovered happiness and fulfillment, realizing that true success lies in honoring one's heritage while building a future grounded in passion and purpose.
