Synopsis

On a night of planned festivity in Cheltenham, a businessman is killed behind a closed door. What appears to be suicide quickly leads to something much deeper and darker. To the dead man’s wife, Penelope Johnson, the evening of celebration becomes a nightmare. To her friend, Kylie Griggs, who has faced her own emotional troubles, she has to find the strength and ability to unravel these events. How do they relate to a contract killing in the USA? What are the wider implications and how are they resolved? Murders across the Pond unfolds into a terrifying fact – that a single murder can give up a secret that spans oceans.

À propos de l'auteur

Upon retirement, David Liston was told by his wife that he could not just play golf for the rest of his life. So, he became a writer. David took an Open University Creative Writing course and enrolled in the Writer’s Village. This encouraged him to write his first book, Loose Ends, which was based on 40 years of experience in stockbroking and his love of global travel. Apart from golf and cricket, David’s many interests include foods from around the world and associated drinks. He lives in Buckinghamshire, a far cry from the council estates of South London.
