Mark Durman's first career was as a British army officer, leaving as a brigadier. His second ‎was as director of security for a US company. In both jobs, he lived in and/or regularly visited ‎many countries throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia and was deeply exposed ‎to all the main religions of the world, to the arguments of believers in faiths, of non-believers ‎and of those who still remained undecided. Mark has four previously published books, each ‎set in different parts of the world. After retirement, he divides his time between Alicante, Spain ‎and Paris.‎
