A Deer in the Fog is a breathtaking tapestry of poetic reflections that unearth the fragile beauty hidden within sorrow, solitude, and spiritual longing. With lyrical precision and soul-deep honesty, David O'Sullivan invites readers into moments where pain transforms into revelation, and silence speaks louder than words. Each piece pulses with emotion-sometimes aching, sometimes hopeful, always human. These are the musings of a soul walking through mist and fire, seeking truth, grace, and healing. From the cry of a broken heart to the whisper of divine love, this collection is both an intimate confession and a universal call to feel, to wonder, and to remember what it means to be alive. Let this book be your quiet companion.

David O'Sullivan is a passionate advocate and writer of Christian literature, and seeks to continue its longstanding tradition of depth and excellency. Originally inspired by various Christian writers during his service as a missionary overseas, O'Sullivan first picked up a pen to put down his thoughts in the summer of 2015. He has since developed and enjoyed the experience of writing poetry and the self-expression that it affords. Among other things, O'Sullivan is also an enthusiastic pianist, and when not writing often practices and composes in his home in Brisbane, Australia.
