À propos de l?auteur

The daughter of a Welsh coalminer, Elizabeth Cottrell, won a scholarship to Cambridge and has a PhD in History. Her first job, teaching, and her marriage to a farmer form the background for her first two novels. She then pursued a career in research and went on to become a special adviser, serving in the departments of culture, employment, education and agriculture, working closely with the prime minister. Elizabeth's first novel, The Ceremonious House, was published in 2022. Long Shadows is the sequel, requested by many readers. A widow, Elizabeth lives in her native Wrexham with her daughter, Alexandra.
