Toads in a Hole is the sequel to A Handful of Toads. It continues our family journey as
novice sheep farmers on the Isle of Anglesey or Ynys Môn, North Wales during the 1990s.
The book contains many short and often humorous tales of challenge and
achievement, alongside some fascinating experiences related by our friends and visitors from
diverse backgrounds.
Then there are the animals, willful wanderers, stubborn goat, renegade cattle, a vengeful tiger, Casanova ducks, and of course the sheep and chickens.
Threaded throughout the book is the theme of the then little-understood condition of dyslexia, a battle fought and won with resounding outcomes.
A happy family life with five lovely children all unique and remaining good friends to this day.
