"I'm a UK based author who wrote the "Adventures with Animals" children's picture book series. I'm fascinated by the nature that we share our planet with, having been inspired by my parents and Sir David Attenborough's many TV programmes. During the Covid-19 lockdown my fiancé realised that i knew a lot of facts about wildlife from our walks and animal sections of zoom quiz's! As a primary school teacher she was aware that there wasn't many books that were both fun to read about animals and factual. I wrote the series with the aim of educating children about different animals, but in a fun way. Taking inspiration from some of my fiancé’s favourite children books, I wanted to ensure the books rhymed, had silly/fun parts in and also contained relatable lessons that can be applied to the children's own lives. The main aim is to inspire children to care about animals and work towards protecting them from the vast number of threats they are facing around the globe."
