Synopsis

Rowan is just an ordinary boy. He likes reading books and playing with his toys, and he likes daydreaming about going on adventures to places he's read about. But Rowan's imagination is different. When he daydreams about places, he goes there! One day, whilst playing with his toy dinosaurs, Rowan starts to feel a little sleepy. And the next thing he knows, he's back in the time of the dinosaurs. Looking around, he can see plants, animals and... a stegosaurus! And that isn't his only adventure. He meets pirates, cowboys, cavemen and astronauts as well! Let's just hope that he manages to get back home without any trouble. Not everyone and everything he meets is friendly.

À propos de l'auteur

Although I've been writing off and on for many years, it had mainly been poems, monologues and short stories for my own enjoyment. As I have dyslexia, I had never had the courage to ‘put my work forward' for anyone but for a few close family and friends to see. This changed in 2020 when my first book The Plastic People of Plastic Town was published. This has been followed by another two books in the series, with more to come, which are all entertaining children's books with a message. These successes led me to fulfilling the dream of publishing an adventure story for children. Constructing the plot and direction of the story has been as exciting for me as I hope reading it will be for you.
