Synopsis

Once upon a time, in a land far from here, lived a woodcutter named Igor in a little cottage alone in the woods. By alone, it is to say he had no human living with him and his only interactions with this species was when once a week he would go into the village to sell his wood. Mike Morrow now lives in Cape Town and is retired after a varied career in finance, business and as a schoolteacher. He has five children and, so far, four grandchildren and has always enjoyed making up stories for them. This how these stories emerged, as Igor the Woodcutter became a firm favourite at bedtime.
