Jim Ainsworth is the author of the Mitchell Beazley White Wine Guide. He has written for a variety of British publications, and is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers. He has also been a successful restaurateur, and has used the insight this has given him into how people choose white wine to compile this guide. Simon Woods is a freelance wine journalist and co-author of the Which? Wine Guide, which won the Rose Award at the 1997 Prix du Champagne Lanson. He writes regularly for WINE magazine and has appeared on radio and television.
