Jim Ainsworth is editor of the Good Food Guide, edits The Sunday Times Wine Club's Wine Times magazine and has a weekly food column in the Observer. He wrote the first edition of the White Wine Guide which, with its partner the Red Wine Guide, won the Deinhard/Wine magazine Book of the Year. Jim has also been a successful restaurateur and has used the insight this has given him into how people choose wine to compile these guides. Simon Woods is wine correspondent for The Financial Times and co-author of the Which? Wine Guide, which won the Rose Award at the 1997 Prix du Champagne Lanson. He is also the author of Vine to Bottle and writes regularly for Wine magazine. He has appeared regularly on radio and television.
