We calculate justice, and therefore the promise, fully realizing that the task is without end. We shall always have to bear witness, raise critical voices, in the name of life that is yet to come. The threshold of this opening contains an invitation to reformulate that critical voice, and so to regenerate anew the promise of justice, recalculated under postmodern conditions.
