Henry McDonald has been writing about Northern Ireland's Troubles and peace process for 16 years. He is the author of Trimble and Irishbatt: the Story of Ireland's Blue Berets in the Lebanon, and co-author of UVF and INLA: Deadly Divisions. Currently The Observer's Ireland Editor, McDonald has also worked in the Middle East and the Balkans. He is married with two children and lives in Belfast.
