Or Uwe Rheker, based in Paderborn, Germany, a graduate in Sports, teaches Sports Sciences and is in charge of Handicapped Students' Affairs at the University of Paderborn. He specialises in sport for the handicapped and integrative sports, and is the founder and head of the Paderborn Integrative Family Sports group.

Uwe Rheker has been the head of the "Swimming with Handicapped Children and Young People" Initiative since 1977, is the founder of the Paderborn "Maple Tree Panthers" Integrative Sports Club Inc. and is a member of the Education Committee of the Handicapped Sports Association in the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
