Throughout history, people have created stories to explain how or why things happen. Following on from Gods & Goddesses and Festivals & Feasts, Belitha now introduces two new fascinating and stunningly illustrated titles in this amazing series of folk tales from around the globe. Fiona Waters has gathered together many of the most compelling of these stories, from how the world was created, to the beasts that roamed upon it. - Each book contains tales from all around the world and at various historical times - excellent resources for multicultural education. - Covers stories that children may know and love, as well as stories that will be totally new to them but none the less fascinating. - Can be used at home or in schools for the study of literacy, history and geography. - Beautiful full-colour artwork to give the reader a sense of the richness and diversity of the various cultures. - So they make lovely gift books, too! - Each book contains a table of contents, index and bibliography
