The Handbook of Child Language Disorders provides an in-depth, comprehensive, and state-of-the-art review of current research concerning the nature, assessment, and remediation of language disorders in children. Richard G. Schwartz is a Presidential Professor in the Ph.D. Program in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has written numerous articles and book chapters concerning speech and language disorders in children. Dr. Schwartz has received numerous research grants from the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders of the National Institutes of Health and has served as an editor of the Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Science.
