Nicola Cortese studied Creative Arts at college, and spent 15 years as a professional musician, before becoming a technical writer for software programs. He began AFV modelling several years ago and was instantly hooked.

He has regularly contributed product reviews, demonstration articles and historical interest features to magazines throughout the world. He is the USA Consulting Editor for Tamiya Model Magazine International as well as for the Osprey Modeling series.
