Doris Kloster is one of the world's leading fetish photographers. Unlike the work of most of her contemporaries in this field, who specialize in photographing fetish and fashion models in articial studio settings, her work shows the secret real-life decadent world of dominance and submission. The previously unpublished photographs presented in Doris Kloster's Fettish Demimonde were shot on location in many private dungeons in London, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, Paris, Moscow, New York City and Los Angeles, and provide an unforgettable insider's view. A visual exploration of fetish, the book follows the evolution of the fetish/fashion nexus, from pre-dawn, meat market-New York City photo shoots to red fetish heels in front of the Kremlin. It will include never-before-seen pictures from the decadent 90s and up to the minute portraits of working doms and their slaves. Infamous fetish icons - professional dominatrixes, striking kinky beauties and amazonian women - will be on show. It will also ionclude a small number of photographs of drag pioneers, and glam freaks.
