A propos du livre

Biographie de l'auteur

Colette Caddle's first novel TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE was published to enormous success in Ireland in 1999 and remained at the No 1 bestseller spot for four weeks. Colette was born, bred and still lives in Dublin. Before she started
writing, she worked in the Insurance industry for seventeen years as a
clerk, a computer operator, a programmer and then a marketing co-ordinator.
She denies, however, that any of her characters are based on the real people
she encountered in her career. She is married to Tony, has a son, Peter and
describes herself as a full-time mother and a part-time author. SHAKEN AND STIRRED is her second novel.

Présentation de l'éditeur

Toni was incredibly flattered when distinguished, razor-sharp surgeon Theodore French showed more than a professional interest in her. But after several years of marriage, she realises that his cold disciplinarian stance is more than skin deep.
Theo has become distant and cruel since he realised that Toni was not the ideal wife after all and though that saddens her, Toni is more concerned at the rather unethical decisions he is making at the clinic.
Just as she decides to take a stance in both her personal and professional lives, Theo disappears, cutting off all her options.
