A tale of hunter and hunted, lost and found, guns and roses, designer drugs and banana smoothies.
Wolf, a vagrant pavement artist on the streets of Amsterdam. He remembers nothing before the hospital where he was treated for gunshot wounds. The police want to talk to him; sinister men in black are on his trail. He has to find a way into his mysterious past before his ignorance kills him. But can he trust the cynical stranger he sees in his mirror?
Robin Carlson, 30-something rebellious daughter of a US general, she has a do-it-my-way attitude... and a Glock-17 for a security blanket. She dreams of becoming an artist, and obsesses guiltily about feeding pizza to her goldfish. Stranded in Amsterdam, she puts her military training to use as a part-time bouncer in the city's nightclubs.
People are going missing.
Robin's desperate bid to help her on-again off-again boyfriend catapults her into the murky world of illegal designer drugs. Wolf follows his heart and blunders into deep trouble.
Robin and Wolf: their paths are going to cross. But can they survive the Nemesis Project?
