Michael Foreman is one of the most talented and popular creators of children's books today. He has won the Kate Greenaway Medal two times and has been the UK nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Award twice. His highly acclaimed books are published all over the world. He is married and has three sons. He divides his time between St Ives in Cornwall and London.
The young fox cubs have rattling, roaring whirlwinds racing past their den by the railway tracks. Each evening these trains bring a kind old man who feeds them. But then a gang of wild man-cubs throw snowballs and snatch the old man's bag.
A moving story about kindness and unlikely friendships illustrated with breathtaking, atmospheric artwork.
"Michael Foreman deserves all the applause he gets." Independent

Hardcover. Etat : Fine. Michael Foreman (illustrateur). 1st Edition. Picture book in pictorial laminated boards, issued without a dust jacket. A moving story by author/illustrator, Michael Foreman, about urban foxes and their interaction with humans. The divide between nature and man is beautifully handled, both in the words and the pictures. Signed by Michael Foreman on title page. I was a bit worried by this signature at first, since it didn't really look like other Foreman signatures I'd seen, but my previous examples were all from a much earlier period than this book. I've checked with a leading, specialist children's bookseller and confirmed that Foreman's signature has changed over the years and that this is indeed a genuine example of the more recent signature. A fine copy, as issued. Signed by Author(s). N° de réf. du vendeur 000425
