Synopsis
The first 12 books in a new range called The World Of...These books explain key ideas in KS2 Geography, History and French. Ideas are placed within the context of real-life scenarios, introduced by four, central humorous characters. This reflects the current shift in emphasis taking place in schools towards more contextualized-learning, i.e. learning about things within a relevant situation. Colourful, fun, content-rich spreads are dotted with 'top tips' and 'did you know' features. Revision spreads, comprising a mixture of straight questions and simple exercises and activities, recap what's been learnt so far.
