Her other published works include World History Encyclopedia: 4 Million Years Ago to the Present Day (Diane Publishing Company) and The Illustrated Children's Encyclopedia of the Ancient World (Southwater). Philip Steele is a highly experienced children s book writer. He is the author of Ancient China, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Mesopotamia and Viking World in the Hands-On History! series. His other published works include A City Through Time (Dorling Kindersley), I Wonder Why Castles Had Moats, I Wonder Why Pyramids Were Built, My Best Book of Mummies (all Kingfisher), The Egyptians and the Valley of the Kings, The Incas and Machu Picchu, and Thor Heyerdahl and the Kon-Tiki Voyage (all Prentice Hall).
