Phil Lee first experienced Canada as a bartender in an Ontario water-ski resort. Subsequent contacts have been less chaotic and have given him an abiding interest in the country. Phil has worked as a freelance author for Rough Guides, and is the co-author of the Rough Guides to the Pacific Northwest and Canada.


Helen Lovekin is a Torontonian born and bred. She lives with the love of her life in a "wee hoose" in Cabbagetown.
