This book, My Own Psalms, is J Jayashree's first volume of poems to be published. These poems express her yearning and love for God. She is also an artist, having exhibited her paintings on religious themes within India. She lives in a small town, Periakulam, in the state of Tamil Nadu, in the south of India.
