Christine Gee is the Royal Nepalese Honorary Consul General (Australia) and co-founder of Australian Himalayan Expeditions. Garry Weare has had a long association with the Himalaya and has, since 1986, written the Lonely Planet guidebook Trekking in the Indian Himalaya. Both are directors of the Australian Himalayan Foundation.
