À propos de l?auteur

Janet Walker is Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Lincoln. She has a particular interest in the development of social care training, having managed local authority social services training prior to joining the University. Janet also has considerable experience of working in children's services as a social worker and a manager. Karin Crawford is Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Lincoln, where she has responsibility for supporting learners, teaching and curriculum development in the area of health, social care and management, both at undergraduate and post-qualifying levels. She also has experience of working with other European countries to develop teaching and learning in health and social care. Professor Jonathan Parker is Head of Social Work and Learning Disability at Bournemouth University and, with colleagues, has developed the Centre for Social Work and Social Care Research. He has published widely on education, practice learning, theories of social work and dementia and palliative care. He is past chair of the Association of Teachers in Social Work Education and current vice-chair of the Joint University Council Social Work Education Committee.
