Synopsis
Led Zeppelin's blend of rock and heavy metal with other genres of music such as blues, soul, folk, pop, Indian and Celtic ranks them as one of the all-time greatest bands whose influence is still felt today. Taking a chronological look at their career, "Led Zeppelin Revealed" takes the reader from the heady days in 1968 when they first brought their unique sound to a worldwide audience, through the early 1970s when they were billed as the 'biggest band in the world' and to 1980s when they became household names on both sides of the Atlantic.

À propos des auteurs
Jason Draper is the Reviews Editor at Record Collector. Recent publications include The Rolling Stones Revealed and Classic Album Covers. He has contributed to The Definitive Illustrated Encyclopedia of Rock and has also written for Uncut, Metal Hammer, Sound Nation, Big Issue Cymru and Buzz.
Paul Du Noyer began his career on the New Musical Express, went on to edit Q and to found Mojo. He also helped to launch Heat and several music websites. As well as editing several rock reference books, he is the author of We All Shine On, about the solo music of John Lennon, and Wondrous Place, a history of the Liverpool music scene. He is nowadays a contributing editor of The Word.
