He has written and contributed to many books on a wide range of subjects, including science, monarchy, social history and technology as well as magazine articles and partworks. His books include The Queen Mother and The Millennium Collection which covers one thousand years of history.

Professor David Loades is one of the leading historians of the Tudor and Stuart periods. He is Research Professor at the University of Sheffield and has written extensively on British History and the monarchy.
