James Leggott is Associate Professor of film at Northumbria University, UK. He is author of The North East of England on Film and Television (2021) and In Fading Light: The Films of the Amber Collective (2020). He is editor of Conflicting Masculinities: Men in Television Period Drama (I. B. Tauris, 2018).

Jamie Sexton is Associate Professor in Film and Television Studies at Northumbria University, UK with research interests in music and media, and cult cinema. Recent publications include Freak Scenes: American Indie Cinema and Indie Music Scenes (2022).
