Présentation de l'éditeur

This superb collection of recipes is divided into seven chapters. Pride of place is taken by Corn dishes, followed by soups, an essential dish at the traditional midday meal. Vegetables and Salads features the many indigenous ingredients, such as tomatoes, peppers, beans, pumpkins, avocados, potatoes and sweet potatoes. With a long coastline, Mexico makes full use of its abundant seafood, and Fish & Seafood provides a tantalising collection of recipes. Meats & Poultry superbly demonstrates the marriage of the Old and New Worlds and so, too, does Desserts and Puddings. Finally, Drinks not only features chocolate specialities, but also a range of refreshing fruit drinks - not forgetting tequila-based cocktails. Hints and tips throughout offer additional information, recipes variations and advice on ingredients. Step-by-step illustrations and easy-to-follow instructions guarantee success and each dish is superbly photographed in colour.
