Carol Bowen has been a cookery writer, food consultant and broadcaster since 1979, having previously worked for Good Housekeeping, Homes & Gardens and Bird's Eye (as the Head of Consumer Affairs). She is a firm convert to and an expert on microwave cooking and has written on the subject for the Sunday Telegraph Magazine. More recently, she has advised on projects with Keith Floyd and BBC television's Masterchef.
