Synopsis

Drawing a line is often the first thing a child learns about art. But how have famous artists over the years, used line to represent important issues, emotions or actions in their pictures? Award-winning art historian and children's book author, Gillian Wolfe explores paintings with bold lines, gentle lines, curvy lines, straight lines, doodle lines, action lines and many more in this fourth book in the acclaimed LOOK! series.
