Colin McDowell is the Sunday Times Style senior fashion writer, the Creative Director of Fashion Fringe and one of the fashion world's most respected commentators. His previous books include Manolo Blahnik, (2000), Ralph Lauren (2005) and John Galliano (1998), but his most renowned is Directory of Twentieth Century Fashion, considered 'the bible' by the industry.
