Synopsis

This title includes stunning new visions of the greatest city in Europe - 100 panoramic views in true perspective. It offers a unique introduction to London's spectacular architecture and heritage. Shot entirely with a classic panoramic camera, Denton's distinctive photography reveals some of the finest ever wide views of London, including cityscapes from vantage points never before accessed. The majority of the images are taken at the magic hours of dusk and dawn, offering richly saturated new interpretations of the city's most recognizable landmarks. Painstakingly waiting for the perfect light and weather conditions, Denton adds an entirely new vision to existing photography of London. Among the extraordinary views included are the high-level vistas from the Goldfinger buildings, from Tower 42, from the uppermost supports of Tower Bridge, from the London Eye and Wembley Arch, as well as breathtaking new views of London's famous parks and open spaces. London is where the historic past and a vibrant present come alive. Its blend of history and rich architecture ensure its must-see status around the world. This magnificent volume puts the city in an entirely new perspective.
