Hydroforming is a process where fluid pressure is applied to ductile metallic blanks (either tubes or sheet metal) to form component shapes. Dr Muammer Koç is Director of the NSFI/UCRC Center for Precision Forming and Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), USA. He is internationally-known for his research on hydroforming.
