Synopsis
When the near-omnipotent being known as Monarch wants to recruit an army for his forthcoming war on the multiverse, he assembles an incredible array of alternate heroes from across dimensions, pitting one version against another in gladiatorial combat!Now various iterations of Batman (including a vampire and a science-adventurer), Superman (including the Communist hero of Red Son), and Wonder Woman (0including the evil Superwoman) must battle for supremacy...to the death! Keith Champagne began his comics acreer as an inker, and has worked on titles including Aztek: The Ultimate Man and JSA. He is now also writing comics, with World War III his first published writing work. Scott McDaniel has worked on top-flight comics including Batman, Hourman, Joker: Last Laugh, JSA, Nightwing, Superman and Robin.
