These therapeutic demonstrations cover: Resolving Depression Feeling 'invisible', the client is helped to develop ways to become 'visible'. Past, recent and imagined future experiences are explored and clarified. Resolving a Fear of Heights A man's intense concern for the safety of his children provides the motivation for resolving his fear of heights. Overcoming Anxiety A woman's anxieties about separation from her family are explored as body-felt experiences, as are the preferred emotions of relief and safety. Her worries are validated, normalized and reframed. Resolving Trauma A man's trauma about his son's surgery is reframed and he is reconnected with skills that he has used to deal with past traumas.

À propos de l'auteur
Dr Robert McNeilly had been in family practice for 10 years when he was inspired by meeting Milton Erickson, regarded as the founder of modern hypnosis and credited with profoundly influencing the direction of psychotherapy. Dr McNeilly has been refining this approach in his practice over the last 30 years, and in his teaching. He has taught internationally including at Ericksonian Congresses. He brings a simplicity to potentially complex concepts and creates an experience of respect and trust enabling clients and students to safely explore their own unique abilities.
