Présentation de l'éditeur

Nigel - an English solicitor - has a reputation for problem-solving. But when his plane is shot down over a rogue African state, the level-headed pragmatist is faced with a crisis way beyond his frame of reference. As the plane's survivors are massacred by an uncompromising paramilitary force in the service of a corrupt government, Nigel narrowly escapes his own date with destiny. Rescued by a second guerrilla group, this one apparently friendly, Nigel is co-opted into an underground revolutionary cell, orchestrating a people's uprising.

Initially reluctant to indulge in revolutionary activity, Nigel is soon persuaded - through his growing admiration for his new friends and the legitimacy of their cause - to join in the good fight. An adept marksman, a cunning strategist and an uncanny seer, Nigel soon becomes an invaluable asset, planning and mounting ever more daring assaults on the deadly and ruthless palace guard.

Yet, as his comrades in arms move nearer their goal of legitimate opposition, has the mysterious 'white spirit' outlived his usefulness and become a liability? How can Nigel extricate himself from his covert world and does his inside knowledge now make him a legitimate target? This compelling, continent-spanning political thriller is a rollercoaster ride of adventure, action and high-octane entertainment.
