Présentation de l'éditeur

When young, successful architect Nick Stephenson is told of a strange discovery on one of his building sites he is at first simply annoyed - as a possible archaeological find, the ancient-looking, indecipherable scroll threatens to bring a halt to construction and cause costly delays to the multimillion pound project. He determines to find out whether the scroll really is as old as it appears, and sets himself up an interview with a scholar at the British Museum.

Is the scroll fake or genuine? Nick wonders. Could it really be one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the mysterious parchments written by a Jewish sect at around the time of Christ and unearthed shortly after World War II? And why does this seemingly innocuous object have the knack of getting Nick into trouble? As Nick investigates further, he finds himself an unwilling player in an international conspiracy that could alter the course of history.

Fans of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code will love this gripping, fast-paced novel, jam-packed with mystery and adventure, hidden codes and ancient lore.
