Présentation de l'éditeur

In the lands of Axeral, Tahniya Dogoro, beautiful, demon-eyed shape-shifter, with her sword Final Demise and her talking warhorse Muzak the Huntrak, is the champion of her people, the Anshubas. Their mortal enemies are the Humans. But Tahniya has other enemies too - within her own Clan, the sinister Kanile.

In battle the warrior woman clashes with the Human, Zan Blackstone, her enemy. She tries to kill him, but he survives and the pair form a reluctant bond, which becomes a real one when a spell is cast on them both after Tahniya is banished from her Clan through the evil machinations of Kanile.

Together with their faithful companions, the Warlock Lune Gladerage and the Thief/Rogue Gwen Shadowstalk, they set out on a quest to find the oracle of the mountains, Etlassi, who may be able to break the spell. It is a mission fraught with danger from demons, monsters and personal revelations. But the biggest battle is yet to come, as Kanile, the arch-traitor, is gathering an army of renegades and the reawakened dead to fight his own people.
