Revue de presse

'A shape identification book with a difference....The reader is invited to hunt for particular shapes within lively colourful double page scenes. The illustrations are naíve yet effective and the appealing bear, who appears throughout the book, adds an imaginative dimension to the pictures. Each page is rich with pattern and presents frequent opportunities for counting... The successful combination of elementary maths and language concepts would make this book a useful resource for both literacy and numeracy sessions.' --Early Years Educator (this review refers to Bear in a Square ISBN: 9781846860553)

'What makes this find-the-shape-on-every-page picture book so appealing is that it works on so many levels.' --Independent on Sunday (this review refers to Bear in a Square ISBN: 9781846860553)

'Children will immediately warm to Bear in a Square...[they] can explore this book at many levels and will find something different each time they read it.' --Nursery World (this review refers to Bear in a Square ISBN: 9781846860553)
