Olga Karpova regularly gives presentations in international conferences and congresses in Russia, Finland, Sweden, the USA, Holland, Austria, Italy, etc., received international research grants from the British Academy in Dictionary Research Centre, Exeter University (1996) and Norwegian Research Council at Oslo University (1998 - 1999). Author of numerous publications (over 200 articles and 7 books) on theory of lexicography, LSP dictionaries, and author lexicography.
