Rob Hawkins started using spreadsheets in 1990 when colour monitors were a luxury and Microsoft Excel was available as version 3.0. He completed a computer-related business studies degree, involving a variety of spreadsheets and database software and is now a freelance journalist and photographer. He has also delivered computer training courses, which developed into consultancy with several corporate projects using Excel.
